Live Report #1: Wine and Dine 2019 10k for St Jude

On November 2nd and 3rd, I ran the Wine & Dine 2-Course Challenge (10k and half marathon) as a St Jude Hero. To raise awareness for St Jude, and as part of my fundraiser for them, I thought it would be a lot of fun to share a live report from the races. My plan was to post a picture at every mile marker, along with a short message. This was not easy to do while running, and the 10k report (this page) does not include very many good photos. I figured some things out though and the half marathon report is better. I think this concept works well, and I plan to do it again in the future.

10K Starting Line. I started running a year ago because of my son’s battle with Cancer, so I am starting these races in honor of him. Carson continues to be an inspiration to everyone around him.
